WHY SIX MONTHS
Your body does not work one system at a time.
You may be paying attention to what you eat, how you sleep, how you move, and how you manage stress—yet the pieces still may not add up.
That is because these parts of your health are connected. Timing influences metabolism. Food affects signaling. Strength supports how your body uses energy. Stress shapes sleep and recovery, while sleep influences appetite, mood, and your capacity for the next day.
When each concern is addressed separately, your effort can become scattered. The Evermed Method brings the pieces together over six months, giving each phase a clear focus while preparing you for what comes next.
The goal is not a perfect plan. It is one foundation, then the next.
THE SIX-MONTH SEQUENCE
Six phases. One connected body.
The Evermed Method moves through six phases in a deliberate order. Each focuses on a different part of your physiology without losing sight of the whole. What you learn and practice in one month carries forward into the next.
RHYTHM · Month 1
Use light, food timing, movement, and darkness to support your circadian rhythm, sleep, and recovery.
FUEL · Month 2
Use protein, meal timing, and food order to support steadier energy, more manageable hunger, and healthier blood sugar patterns.
TERRAIN · Month 3
Explore how hydration, whole foods, fiber, and microbial diversity shape your internal environment.
FORM · Month 4
Build strength, mobility, aerobic capacity, and the physical reserve to support daily life.
SIGNAL · Month 5
Understand how stress, insulin sensitivity, hormones, and your environment influence adaptation.
STATE · Month 6
Integrate what you have learned into personal standards, daily practices, and a way of living you can sustain.
Each month builds on the last, turning what you learn into practices that become part of how you live.

MONTH 1
RHYTHM
Begin by setting the clock.
Your physiology runs on time. Light, food timing, movement, darkness, and sleep send signals that help organize your circadian rhythm—and influence energy, appetite, blood sugar, recovery, and rest.
Rhythm is not about living by a rigid schedule. It is about giving your body clearer, more consistent cues for when to be alert, use energy, and recover.
During this first month, you establish daily anchors that support everything that follows.
WHAT YOU’LL PRACTICE
• Morning outdoor light and a consistent start to the day
• An eating window that fits your schedule and needs
• Daily movement—even a short walk or a few minutes of stretching
• Lower evening light and a deliberate downshift before sleep
SIGNATURE PRACTICE
Meet the morning light.

MONTH 2
FUEL
Food is an energy event—and a timing event.
What you eat, when you eat, and the order in which you eat can influence appetite, blood sugar, energy, and body composition.
Fuel is not about following a rigid diet. It is about understanding how protein, carbohydrates, meal timing, and movement work together—then choosing practices that fit your life.
During this month, you build meals around protein, become more aware of carbohydrate timing and food order, and create a way of eating you can sustain.
WHAT YOU’LL PRACTICE
• A protein-forward first meal and protein earlier in the day
• Greater awareness of carbohydrate timing and food order
• Balanced meals built around protein, fiber, and healthy fats
• Movement after meals, when practical
SIGNATURE PRACTICE
Make your first meal protein-forward.

MONTH 3
TERRAIN
Cultivate the environment within.
Your digestive tract does more than process food. It is a living interface connecting what you eat with your microbiome, immune system, liver, and the rest of your physiology.
Terrain also reframes detoxification. Your body already processes and eliminates waste every day through the liver, kidneys, and digestive tract—it does not depend on a short-term cleanse.
During this month, you support those built-in systems through hydration, whole foods, fiber, plant variety, and fermented foods—introduced gradually and according to tolerance.
WHAT YOU’LL PRACTICE
• Consistent hydration throughout the day
• Building meals from whole-food foundations
• Gradually increasing fiber and plant variety
• Exploring fermented foods, as tolerated
SIGNATURE PRACTICE
Build plant variety gradually.

MONTH 4
FORM
Build a body that can carry you forward.
Form is about more than appearance. Muscle, aerobic capacity, mobility, and balance shape how well you move, use energy, recover, and remain capable over time.
During this month, you develop these qualities in a deliberate progression: build an aerobic base, improve useful range of motion, strengthen muscle, and add intensity appropriate to your ability.
The goal is not to punish your body. It is to build the physical reserve to meet the demands of daily life—and keep doing what matters to you.
WHAT YOU’LL PRACTICE
• Zone 2 movement to build your aerobic base
• Mobility work to improve range of motion, control, and balance
• Resistance training to build strength and preserve muscle
• Higher-intensity work, scaled to your ability, to build VO₂ max
SIGNATURE PRACTICE
Give your muscles a reason to work.

MONTH 5
SIGNAL
Support the signals that guide your body.
Your body communicates through the nervous system, hormones, and neurotransmitters. Stress, sleep, nourishment, movement, and attention all influence how these signals are produced, released, and received—shaping mood, energy, metabolism, focus, and recovery.
Signal is not about eliminating stress or chasing perfect hormone levels. It is about recognizing patterns of activation and recovery, providing the building blocks your body uses to make essential messengers, and supporting those signals so they can work as intended.
During this month, you practice daily downshifts, use nourishment and recovery to support natural hormone production and insulin sensitivity, and learn how attention and stimulation influence neurotransmitters, mood, and focus.
WHAT YOU’LL PRACTICE
• A daily practice for moving from activation toward recovery
• Nourishment and recovery practices that support insulin sensitivity and natural hormone production
• The nutritional building blocks involved in making hormones and neurotransmitters
• Intentional breaks from constant stimulation to protect attention and mood
SIGNATURE PRACTICE
Create a daily downshift.

MONTH 6
STATE
Make what you’ve built part of how you live.
What lasts is not a perfect routine. It is the ability to recognize what helps you, choose what matters, and return when life changes.
State brings the previous five phases together. Through reflection and repetition, the practices you have built become more familiar, more personal, and easier to carry into daily life.
During this final month, you clarify your purpose and personal standards, deepen connection and gratitude, and make room for more presence and happiness. You leave with a way to notice, adjust, and return—and the confidence to say: I know how to be.
WHAT YOU’LL PRACTICE
• Clarifying your purpose, priorities, and personal standards
• Making the practices that work for you part of everyday life
• Deepening connection, gratitude, and presence
• Creating a plan for adjusting and returning when life changes
SIGNATURE PRACTICE
Make happiness a practice.
THE SIX-MONTH EXPERIENCE
The Method is designed to be lived—not simply watched.
Information alone rarely changes how you live. The Method combines education with implementation, reflection, accountability, and access—so each phase can move from something you understand to something you practice.

WHO THE METHOD IS FOR
For people ready to move beyond isolated answers.
The Evermed Method is a six-month, physician-led program for adults seeking a clearer understanding of how the body’s systems work together—and practical guidance for what to do next.
THIS MAY BE A FIT IF
• Your routine testing has been reassuring, but you still do not feel or function like yourself.
• You want to understand how energy, metabolism, sleep, digestion, strength, stress, and hormonal health connect.
• You have tried isolated strategies without a clear sense of where to begin.
• You value physician guidance, access, accountability, and practical application.
• You are willing to practice, observe, and adjust—not chase a perfect protocol.
The Evermed Method is not emergency or acute care. It is not a quick fix, a guarantee of results, or a one-size-fits-all protocol.
PHYSICIAN-LED — Guided by Dr. Tanner Jay, a physician board-certified in internal medicine with additional fellowship training in longevity medicine.
PHYSIOLOGY-FIRST — Begins with the larger pattern: how your systems interact and what may be shaping how you feel and function.
